Pastor Donna McDowell embraces her assignment to teach, train, edify and encourage believers in spiritual maturity. As an anointed teacher of the gospel, she delivers messages designed to inspire people to pursue God with all diligence and to fulfill all their God given assignments. Pastor Donna believes that effectiveness in ministry and success in life is possible when one becomes sensitive and pliable to the voice of the Holy Spirit. She is enthusiastic about the continued advancement of the Kingdom of God in the earth. As demonstrated by her commitment to do business with God through the posture of prayer. Pastor Donna rallies the saints to join in lifting their voices with faith and passion to see the will of God fulfilled. She established Donna McDowell Ministries, LLC and is the founder of “the Lover’s Experience,” a movement designed to assist believers in the development of intimate fellowship with God.

Born and raised in Rockford, Illinois she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to complete her undergraduate studies in Business Management at Georgia State University. She continued to obtain a Master of Business Administration from Clark-Atlanta University. After an extended career in the Pharmaceutical Industry, she answered the call to counsel and obtained a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy at Richmont Graduate University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, she has successfully established her private practice Rapha Connection Counseling Services, LLC in Stockbridge, GA. She utilizes the integration of psychological and spiritual concepts in therapy to assist her clients through their journey in the healing of the soul.

It was in 1988 that Pastor Donna accepted her call to the ministry to teach. In June 2001, she received her license and ordination from Bishop Keith A. Butler at Word of Faith International Christian Center in Southfield, Michigan. Pastor Donna is honored to have the privilege to serve in ministry alongside her husband, Pastor Lucius McDowell, Founder and Senior Pastor of Agape International Ministries. Where she established Agape Women of Destiny and The P.R.A.Y.E.R.S. Ministry. Pastor Donna serves as the Vice President of Agape International Ministries and the Agape International Ministries Bible Training Institute.

Pastor Donna is an anointed Praise and Worship Leader and is a Prophetic Psalmist. In 2006, Pastor Donna released her freshman CD Project entitled “It’s All About You”. The CD features fourteen songs inspired by the Holy Spirit. These melodies from Heaven encourage listeners to allow God to be first in their lives, seek the Holy Spirit for instruction and trust Him for empowerment.

Pastor Donna resides with her husband in McDonough, GA and they have two lovely daughters Zoe and Victoria.
